My interest in audio dates back to my school days just before multi-channel surround sound formats were introduced. During pre-google era, I was able to create virtual surround from two discrete audio channels (without knowing that that experiment is widely known as Hafler Circuit). I was quite inquisitive about surround sound technology that I was planning to pursue audio engineering to build a career around mixing and mastering– it didn’t happen though.

When BluRay was introduced, just like anyone else, I was awe inspired by the HD picture and sound quality. At the same time, I started to appreciate the pleasure of listening to a good two-channel setup for music. Since then, I have been interspersing with like-minded audio enthusiasts, and have been able to demo many equipment and cognize the shades of hifi audio.

I always wish to keep myself apprised about the technological advancements and innovations in the audio /video entertainment industry and I hope to acquire more knowledge and exposure in this space to appreciate high fidelity audio even more.
